I think this shrug is really nice. I bet the person who created the pattern was a genius!. This shrug is for size XS. Patterns are taken from here and here
I used 2.4NM 58% merino, 36% mohair and 6% nylon yarn. It is knitted with 2 yarns together to make it thicker.
1) Make 3 rectangles. ABCD, CJFE and JIGH as in picture above.
2)Determine your gauge. My swatch is 10st* 22 row= 10cm *10cm. After you take out your piece from the machine squash it to relax the tension of the yarn then measure your swatch.
3) Measure your shoulder, CJ. Mine is CJ= 34cm.
4) Measure your upper arm circumference, right under the armpit , AC. Mine is AC =JI=29cm
5) CD=DE=14cm.CD must equal to DE because you will fold CD to DE. CD+DE=28cm. CE is the length of the bolero. You can make it longer if you like.
6) Fold AB to CD and ED to CD.
7) Sew AB to DE and you have one sleeve.
8) Repeat step 6-7 for the other rectangle..
9) To stop curling at the edges you can add 10-15cm garter stitches or ribbing. The longer the ribbing, the bigger your collar will be.This is necessary if it is long sleeved.
Garter stitch means you knit on both the right and wrong sides.
Ribbing is when you purl 2 and Knit 2 on the right side, and Knit 2 and purl 2 on the wrong side.

You can stop here if you want it short sleeve

I made mine long sleeve.

For the sleeve pattern, click on my sweater post below. Have fun!

How to Make Indoor Shoes with Prym Knitting Mill

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Figure 1

This shoes will only take you maximum 2 hours to do. I used 2.4NM 58% merino, 36% mohair and 6% nylon.I sell this yarn in Swedish Ebay. You can check my reputation and the stuff I sell here. I sell it there for 8 Euro for 200g. Do write me at zainulmsia "@"gmail.com if you would like to purchase it
My swatch is 12st* 22 row= 10cm *10cm. After you take out your piece from the machine squash it to relax the tension of the yarn then measure your swatch.

Method
1) Starting with the toe, knit 14 cm until the piece measures 4 cm long.
2) Increase 2cm and knit 3 more cm.
3) Repeat step 2 until your piece is 16 cm long and 24 cm wde.
4) Increase 4.5cm on both ends of needles to make rectangle of 33 cm wide and knit for 10 cm more.

Figure 2
5) The piece will be bigger than your foot, wash it in the washing machine to shrink /felt it.
6) Depending on your yarn, it might shrink less than expected. See figure 2 above.Pin A to B, C to D and finally close the toe seam E
6)You might also find the piece at area A,B and E above too long. Cut it to fit your feet. Use this piece, Figure 3 below as a gusset.

Figure 3
7) Sew part C in Figure 3 to part C in Figure 2.
8) Do the same for part D and E.
9) Try it on! I hope you like it!

This pattern is adapted from http://garnstudio.com

How to Make Long John with Prym Knitting Mill

I love this long john soo much! It's very warm and fits me just right.
This leggings is size S. You can easily add or minus the sizes by taking measurement of your thigh, waist and length of your legs.

I used a 2.4NM yarn which is 58% merino, 36% mohair and 6% nylon. I knitted them double strand so as to make it thicker. I sell this yarn in Swedish Ebay. You can check my reputation and the stuff I sell here. I sell it there for 8 Euro for 200g. Do write me at zainulmsia "@"gmail.com if you would like to purchase it

TRY IT! IT'S SIMPLER THAN MY SWEATER PATTERN ON PRYM KNITTING MILL!

Make a swatch of 10cm *10cm= 12st*22row. After you take out your piece from the machine squash it to relax the tension of the yarn then measure your swatch.

For the waist
1) Knit a rectangle using 36 needles 28cm long. (Rectangle 1)
2) Knit another rectangle of the same size.(Rectangle 2)
3) Knit a trapezoid as figure 1 below.Start with 4 cm and for every 4 cm increase 1 stitch until you have 15 cm wide and 28 cm long piece.

Figure 1-trapezoid

4) Sew the pieces together as arranged in figure 2 and sew the ends of the rectangle together.
5) You have completed the waist part. The trapezoid should be the back part and the line connecting the rectangle together should be the front part
Figure 2

For the Gusset
1) Make a rectangle gusset 4cm wide 12 cm long. Sew this piece to the mid front and mid back

For the legs
Measure the circumference of your thigh, knee, and length of your legs. From here you only need to create 2 trapezoid as long as your legs. You can knit according to measurement of your legs or you can copy the pattern below.
1) Start from the ankle up to the thigh. Knit 23 stitches.
2) Every 4cm increase by 2 stitches until piece measures 8cm long.(You should have 27 stitches)
3) Increase 4 stitches more (31 stitches) .Knit until piece measures 12cm long
4) Increase 4 stitches more (35 stitches).Knit until peace measures 64cm long.

Gusset for the legs.
You will find the machine cannot knit the size of your thigh so you need to knit 2 pieces of trapezoid as figure 1 above or as suits your legs and knit it and sew it to the legs pieces.

How to Make Sweater With Prym Knitting Mill-Part1

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

I made a sweater with my Prym Knitting Mill. It is a size S sweater using a 2.4NM 58% merino, 36% mohair and 6% nylon. I sell this yarn in Swedish Ebay. Click here.Do write me at zainulmsia "@"gmail.com if you would like to purchase it.

If you are size M or larger, you might want to add gusset on the left and right and attach them to the front and back piece using invisible stitch. I knit 2 strands together to thicken it a bit probably equivalent to DK yarn. With this yarn the knitting tension for 10cm*10 cm = 10cm*30 rows. After you take out your piece from the machine squash it to relax the tension of the yarn then measure your swatch.

Instructions
1) Cast on 36 stitches on your Prym Knitting Machine. Start from needle no 7 to 42. If you want to knit it with more stitches
see the second video below.
2) Knit 10 cm
3) Increase 1 stitch from right and left end of fabric. You should be at needle no 6 and 43
4) Knit 10 cm
5) Increase 1 stitch from right and left end of fabric. You should be at needle no 5 and 44
6) Knit 8 cm
7) Decrease 2 stitches by dropping 1 stitch from both sides of the fabric.Sew that dropped stitch .Knit 1 cm*. You should be at needle no 6 and 43 (38 stitches)
8) Repeat Step 7 until *.Continue until you have 30 stitches .
10) Knit 10cm or until the armhole is 20cm long.
11) Knit 2 triangle gussets for the right and left of the hips
12) To stop curling at the edges you can add garter stitches. That is knit on right and wrong sides of the fabric. For the edge at the wrist knit 2 cm of garter stitch and for the edge at the hips knit 10 cm of garter stitch.Bind off and attach them.

Wool Vs Angora Rabbit Vs Cotton Vs Silk

Warmest
1) Angora rabbit- Warmer than Alpaca, mohair, merino and wool. Angora rabbit hair is also recommended by doctors for people with arthritis, back pain and rheumatism
2) Wool- Studies shown sleeping with wool lowers heart rate (which means the sleeper sleeps at deep relaxed state), reduces allergy, anti- bacteria, flame and static resistant
3) Silk
4) Cotton

Highest maintenance
1) Wool-Some wool attracts hair , lint and dust due to lanolin in it. To remove it here are some tips:
a) put it in your dryer without heat for 30 minutes. The motion of the dryer and lint trap will catch most hair.
b)Use lint remover. There are many kinds to choose from some are like shaver/vaccum cleaner(as in picture below) and some are like a roller .
Then spray it with anti-static spray. If you can't stand that buy superwash merino which has its lanolin removed . It is warmer than wool, contains no lanolin that attracts hair and some are machine washable.
2) Angora- It sheds a lot so you always have to clean it like wool. So when buying one do make sure it is made using long hair, strengthened with polyamide.
3) Silk- Only handwash like other fibres described above
4) Cotton- The only natural fibre which can withstand washing machine.
Further read click here and here
You can buy it here. Just type angora and you will find many.
