Christians, Jews and Muslims all believe in Adam and Eve.They were the first man and woman created by God from clay/mud.
Before they were created, angels argued why humans will be the leader of earth since humans will make mischief and shed blood. Whilst the angels praises and glorify Him?. So God said "I know what you know not".(2:30)
After Adam was created, God taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the names of these if ye are right."
The Angels could not answer it and when Adam was asked, he could answer them.
So Allah said"Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?" (2:31-2:33)
Then God said to the angels to Prostrate to Adam. So they did prostrate except Satan because he was proud that he is created of fire, while Adam was create of dust.(Refer to 7:11-12)
God said "Then get forth from this (state), for it does not befit you to behave proudly therein...(7:13)

God told Adam and Eve not to come near to a tree in heaven. Unfortunately Satan made them slip and ate the forbidden fruit.
Christianity and Islam differs at the point of eating the fruit. The Quran said Adam initiated the eating of the fruit and not persuaded by Eve. Each one of them was responsible for their own action. Islam also do not have the concept of inherited sin. Every one is born sinless.
After they were sent to Earth, they were separated and met each other at Mount of Arafat, also known as Mount of Mercy (Jabal ar-Rahmah). God also forgave their sins there. Today Muslims would visit this place for one afternoon as part of the pilgrimage requirement
